The librarian of the institution is Olga Daradics. The program with the public is on weekdays, between 9 and 2 p.m. The books can be borrowed for a period of two weeks.

In order to access the books, a library card must be purchased and/or annually renewed. The library card are valid for the library of University Extension Gheorgheni, the Central University Library and the all the libraries of all the faculties of the University.

The Extension’s library catalog has about 9200 volumes and may be also consulted on the computers in the library; also, through the Intranet system (http://aleph.bcucluj.ro:8991)may be consulted the catalogs of the Central University Library and of the different faculties, the reservation of the needed books being possible.
